PetroChina’s Liaohe Oilfield is located in Shanxi’s coal-bed methane power generation project. It uses 8*250kW (total power 2MW) containerized gas-fired generating units. The electricity generated by the units is integrated into the local oilfield grid to provide electricity for drilling and pumping units in the surrounding area.
